Research constitutes the lifeblood of the progress of knowledge and competencies, underpinning the organic growth and academic quality of a university. In developing a thriving community of researchers, AMU has not only introduced policies that encourage and recognise research work and publication, but also allocates a substantial amount of internal funds to support such work. Our research contribution to various disciplines will elevate our position from a purely teaching institution to that which is research-oriented as well. This is in line with our vision to achieve excellence in teaching, research and consultancy.
Dynamic changes in the macro and micro environments, technology and industry have presented a huge window for research; more importantly, research in health sciences will eventually contribute to better healthcare and quality of life. Approvals & Recognition
All MASTERSKILL programmes are approved by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), recognised by the Ministry of Health (KKM) and endorsed by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
MASTERSKILL Diploma in Nursing is also recognized by the Public Service Department/ Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA). Therefore, a MASTERSKILL Diploma is equivalent to those issued by public universities and our graduates are now able to work in the public as well as private sector.
MASTERSKILL has obtained full accreditation from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) for the following programmes:
